| Artist Comments: The Lion's Mane Jellyfish (Cyanea capillata) is the largest known species of jellyfish. It is found in the cold waters of the Arctic, northern Atlantic and northern Pacific Oceans. In the open ocean, lion's mane jellyfish act as floating cities for certain species of fish providing food and protection from prey. |
