| Artist Comments: Of all the draft breeds, the percheron is my favourite. I am fortunate that our local draft horse club have several breeders, so everytime they get together I have lots of material to work from. This young mare was getting ready to be hooked with three others to seed a field. The percheron always strikes me as being a proud, spirited, but very gentle animal. |
